On behalf of the Founders, Board Members and the staff of Yayasan Dana Mitra Lingkungan (DML), I welcome you to our web site. Even long time before being assigned as the Executive Director, I have been a part of its challenging and invigorating prospects of DML as one of the pioneers of Indonesia’s environmental NGO. DML’s 24 years history has made up portfolio of environmental programs and projects in Indonesia that have created a mosaic with distinct yet complementary activities, services, and products, -- thanks to the vision of the Foundation’s Boards and Executive Body. DML’s projects are spread across the Archipelago that give DML national and international recognitions. Our FORLINK program is the first and among a few environmental e-library in Indonesia. DML’s programs have been successfully developed through our unique Corporate Environmental Partnerships. The Program Summary in this web lists our past and ongoing projects grouped into several areas. These include Environmental Awareness, Education, Capacity Building and Information Systems; Waste, Water, Sanitation and Environmental Health; Watershed and Natural Resources Management; and more recently on areas related to Clean Development Mechanism. I personally believe that diversity of thought is what makes us alive, creative and strong. Regardless of where you stand on such broad environmental issues, if you believe in environmental mission for our next generation’s better future, there is a place for you as DML partners. We are an inclusive organization, working together to make impacts through innovative environmental solutions that give benefit to the communities. DML is supported by an endowment established with funds from our corporate partners, the founders’ donation, occasional bi-/multi-lateral grants, and other partnership programs. We operate according to the highest standards set forth by the profession and provide quality service to the general public.
