Bali’s beaches over the past couple of years

Bali’s beaches are turning into garbage dumps.

Sungai Design saw an opportunity to fix it.

The results are… Incredible…

Clean-ups have all my support and respect.

But there is one but…

After every clean-up, the trash comes back.

To stop plastic pollution, we need to go to the source – a few big corporations.

Big brands need to move beyond recycling and focus on waste prevention.

Don’t let them blame 8 billion people. They must change.

Instead of “just” focusing on recycling, here are other crucial concepts to work with:

– refill
– reuse
– collect
– reduce
– recycle
– eliminate
– ecodesign

Applied together, we can turn off the tap and end plastic pollution.
