Cumulatively, the West’s emissions dwarf the Global South’s 😓

Even today, the average Briton produces more carbon emissions in two days than a Congolese person does in an entire year.

But the situation has become a lot more complex.

Today, China is the # 1 emitter, followed by the US and India.

This tells us that the challenge of reducing carbon emissions is now a global responsibility.

However, the West still has a long way to clean up its own mess. Together with BRICS, we should take the leadership to curb the climate.
